Hello Panther families! We’re just one (hopefully sunny) long weekend away from our first day! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Caruso, Mr. Viscoso & the summer crew for cleaning & preparing our school over the summer…their efforts do not go unnoticed.
I would also like to thank Mrs. Bernar & Ms. Vicinotti who have been working very hard to make sure that all the registrations are completed and class lists are updated.
Thank you to Mrs. Branch, for her support in ensuring a smooth start to the year.
Finally, thank you to our dedicated staff who have been coming into the school this past week to prepare programming & their classrooms for students…we’re ready to begin another great year together!
Please take a moment to review the important information below.
PARENT/GUARDIAN MORNING DROP-OFF ZONE
Parents/guardians are asked to say their goodbyes & give hugs in the pick-up/drop-off zone which is along the edge of the field behind the 4-square courts & have their child(ren) walk to their designated entry door & wave before entering the school. Kindergarten parents are asked to wait along the perimeter of the Kindergarten yard.
END-OF-DAY DISMISSAL
We have a unique challenge at the end of the day as we dismiss close to 600 students at once! Parents/guardians are again asked to wait for their child(ren) in the pick-up zone which is along the edge of the field.
KISS ‘N’ RIDE
Sts. Peter & Paul CES is committed to student safety and our Kiss ‘n’ Ride is a convenient, safe & efficient strategy to help ensure the safety of all of our Panthers. As a reminder, please review the drop-off procedures below:
- Prior to leaving home, please give your good-bye hugs & kisses.
- Enter the parking lot at the entrance closest to the church.
- Slowly follow the arrows spray-painted on the parking lot while driving to the drop-off zone.
- While waiting to come to the drop-off, please have your child(ren) have their backpack on their lap to enable them to exit the vehicle quickly.
- Please drive up to the staff members in the orange vests and come to a complete stop.
- Once the child releases their seatbelt, they can exit the vehicle from the PASSENGER SIDE ONLY…staff members will assist small children out of the vehicle & direct them into the schoolyard.
- Parents/Drivers, please DO NOT get out of the vehicle. There are other vehicles behind you queueing up to drop off…we need to keep traffic moving!
- Once your child has exited the vehicle, please drive safely & follow the traffic signs to exit.
Thank you in advance for continuing to display patience and respect for the safety of our entire school community.
Parents that wish to accompany their child(ren) to the schoolyard are asked to please park on the street and walk over to the schoolyard.

WASTE-FREE LUNCHES
This year we are once again encouraging families to consider using reusable, plastic containers when packing lunches. A waste-free lunch may include a reusable lunch bag/box, reusable sandwich container, reusable drink container, reusable containers for veggies, yogurt & snacks, reusable cutlery & a cloth napkin. Packing a waste-free lunch for your child(ren) will help cut down on the amount of waste…let’s make Johnny ECO proud!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your loving kindness toward us. We pray our children will clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience this year. Guide their parents, caregivers & educators to encourage kindness and patience in their hearts. As we plant these seeds, Lord make them grow!
Have a great long weekend…can’t wait to see our Panthers on Tuesday!
Many blessings,
Mrs. Daoust
